the site rules *

Welcome to The Edge of Humanity, an AU Twilight rp. I know you just want to get to the actual roleplaying, but please take the time to just read (or skim over) these rules before starting. there's not many, don't worry.
one please respect both the admins and the members of this site, regardless of whether you are a member yourself or just a guest who is stopping by. please don't start fights out of character, everyone would like The Edge of Humanity to be a fun and friendly place, not a living hell. if you feel you've been treated unfairly by a member of staff or another member, please contact Laila.
two when you register, you can sign up with any name you like, although upon setting up your profile, please change it to FIRST MIDDLE LAST, all in caps. for example: LAILA AVA WHITE. this just makes things all neat and tidy.
three before you even consider roleplaying, please post your application and wait to be accepted. please don't post in any claims threads until after you've been accepted. 
four here at Humanity's Edge, we like to believe we're literate. therefore our work count is 200 words per post. a rule of thumb is to try and match the posts of the person you're roleplaying with. 
five in terms of activity we ask for two posts a week from canon characters, and one a week from originals. if you haven't logged in in three weeks, any claims you have will be reopened.  
six one thing that drives Laila crazy is god modding. don't do it. for those of you who aren't quite sure on what it is, it's basically controlling someone else's character. just don't do it. no killing characters off without the owner's permission. no huge graphics ( 500px width is ideal).
seven finally, The Edge of Humanity is rated mature. sex, drugs and rock n roll baby. proboards terms and conditions state that you should be over thirteen to sign up, so you should be able to handle any mature topics that happen. if not, don't join, simple. if you ignore this and sign up anyway, don't get offended if you read something you don't like. and please, if you're having a mature topic (i.e. sex) then please post a warning in the title. thank you, we hope you enjoy your stay here at The Edge of Humanity.
